In the Transport and  Logistics Industry there are many thousands of fork lift trucks in UK and these must be operated in a correct and safe manner.

Last year a reported 4% increase in fatal accidents in the workplace took place with fork lift trucks, reported to account for approximately 25% of all major injuries to employees.

NETT are an RTITB accredited training company who train fork lift truck operators to a very high standard and operate the new NORS (National Operator Registration Scheme) .This scheme is intended to make it easier to identify professional operators who have been trained to industry standards and takes steps to eradicate unprofessional trainers through the use of a centralised registration and certification scheme. 

NETT takes great pride in the quality of its work and also runs Instructor training and re-test courses for the RTITB on Fork Lift Trucks at its Worksop centre.

We have training courses for LGV drivers with varying levels of skills and expertise including a part funded up-skill programme for SME companies. 

We  operate the Invest in Skills programme in South Yorkshire which is  a part funded training initiative for LGV and other be-spoke training programmes that can be adapted to suit the requirements of your company such as Tachograph training. 

We have a new LGV driver programme which is the RTITB Master Drivers Certificate, this training and test endeavour to give professional LGV drivers the recognition of their skills and expertise.

 The NETT School of Motoring is operated at both Sheffield and Worksop and is run on the same principals as all our other training. The instructors are patient, professional and most importantly are all ADI registered, which means working to the highest standard is their number one priority. Our Worksop centre also offers driving lessons to 16 year olds on our own private manoeuvring area. After you have passed your test then you can continue to improve your driving by taking the Pass Plus, this includes motorway instruction to fully prepare you for today’s traffic.
